These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sns-os (the "Service").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By authorizing the Service via SNS OAuth (Instagram / Threads / TikTok / X), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not authorize the Service.

2. Description of the Service

sns-os is an internal SNS content management tool operated by an individual ("we", "our", "us") for the purpose of authoring, scheduling, and analyzing social media posts on SNS accounts owned by the operator.

The Service is not a public-facing application. It is intended exclusively for the operator's internal use to manage their own SNS accounts. The Service is not offered to third parties as a SaaS product.

3. Eligibility and Authorized Use

3.1 Who can use

Only the operator and individuals explicitly authorized by the operator may use the Service. Use by unauthorized third parties is prohibited.

3.2 What you can do

Authorize the Service to access SNS accounts that you own or have explicit management rights to
Author, schedule, and publish posts to your authorized SNS accounts
View metrics on your published posts

3.3 What you cannot do

Authorize the Service for SNS accounts you do not own or do not have management rights to
Use the Service to violate any SNS platform's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
Use the Service for automated mass-posting or spam
Attempt to access other users' data through the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the Service's source code (separately from the public repository if applicable)
Use the Service for any illegal purpose

4. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

The content of all posts published through the Service
Compliance with each SNS platform's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
Compliance with applicable laws (copyright, trademark, advertising disclosure, etc.)
Maintaining the security of your SNS account credentials outside the Service
The accuracy and lawfulness of any information you publish

The Service is a tool that executes posts on your behalf based on your authorization and approval. It does not pre-screen, edit, or take responsibility for the content of your posts.

5. SNS Platform Compliance

By using the Service, you agree to comply with the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines of each SNS platform you authorize the Service to access:

Violations of these platforms' policies are your sole responsibility.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant:

That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
That all post operations will succeed (SNS APIs may fail, rate-limit, or change behavior)
That metrics fetched from SNS APIs will be accurate or up-to-date
That the Service will be compatible with all future changes to SNS APIs

The Service depends on third-party services (Cloudflare, GitHub, SNS platforms). Disruptions to these services may affect the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
Our total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed JPY 0 (the Service is provided free of charge for internal use)

You acknowledge that the Service is provided without charge for personal / internal use and is not a commercial product.

8. Termination

8.1 By you

You may stop using the Service at any time by:

Revoking the Service's authorization from each SNS platform's app settings, or
Sending a deletion request to contact@sns-os.dev

Upon termination, we will delete your tokens immediately and metadata within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if:

You violate these Terms or any SNS platform's policies
Continued operation of the Service becomes legally or technically infeasible

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Your content

You retain all rights to the content you author and publish through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of executing your posts to the SNS platforms you authorize.

9.2 Service

The Service's source code, documentation, and configuration are the intellectual property of the operator (or, if applicable, are licensed from third parties). All rights are reserved unless explicitly granted.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. All changes are recorded in the Changelog. The most recent Last updated date at the top of these Terms reflects the latest revision.

If significant changes affect your use of the Service, we will notify you via the registered contact email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Japan.
